14. In litigation process in Honble Supreme Court or Appropriate legal remedial measures to establish Optometry Discipline practice independent under separate Optometry profession Council in India through the Parliament of India or through the Supreme Court Immediately.
15. DOA does not accept Optometrists should be considered under ophthalmic Science Council under NATIONAL COMMISSION OF ALLIED AND HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONS ACT,2021 .
16. Now, the time demands optometrists must be regulated and authorised to practice Optometry independently likes National Commission of Mediacal or Dental or Pharmacy or Nursing or veterinary or Homepathy or Indian Medicine system or Unani medicine etc only not under axillary cadre etc
17.Our Supreme Court lawyers advised us, first of all DOA has to be submitted a representation on Subject Declare /classified under optometry independent profession and form optometry council instead of ophthalmic science under Act 2021 to government of India and
18. If, Government of India is agreed with the same than no need to file the litigation in any court but if Govt does not give us any response than
19. DOA has to be filed a litigation in Honble Supreme Court after 30 to 60 days immediately, If, Second situation arises than
20. How DOA pay the fee of lawyers because fees of Apex courts proceedings are too expensive this is the problem and
Secondly, DOA has a financial status of Rs.6 lacs approx in account of Association only which is not a sufficient amount for initiating the litigation in Honble Supreme Court or Appropriate legal remedial measures proceedings.
21. So, DOA is appealing and requesting you all to join hands with us for the cause of *OPTOMETRY PROFESSION COUNCIL independently only under statutory authority or Act of the parliament of India and not under existing an Ophthalmic Science Council * and
extend your individual support by just being the life member yourself and along with your friends
22. These new Life members will add to the numbers for stronger representation as well as fund [Rs 2500/_ + Rs.100/- ] multiples with minimum 600 optometrists it means we can collect Rs 15 Lacs approx ] support where additional donations may not be even required..
